About
This project will contain all Cryo users in Genshin Impact. This includes delusion users, cryo travelers, and enemy units. We aim to include all Cryo users at least once in our zine!List of playable units: Traveler, Ayaka, Diona, Ganyu, Chongyun, Eula, Qiqi, Kaeya, Shenhe, Rosaria, and Aloy.Delusion users: Signora, Childe etc.Cryo enemies: Fellflower Albedo, Cryo Abyss Mage, Treasure Hoarders: Cryo Potioneer, Cryo Regisvine etc.Au’s / Alternative outfits will be allowed.
Light shipping also welcome (We will add one extra pitch space for ships in the applications)This is a for-charity, SFW project, and we ask that all applicants keep work safe for work upon applying and while creating their piece for this zine. Blood or violence due to themes of war is allowed.Themes of fluff or angst welcome.All applicants must be at least 16 years of age to apply.Our chosen charity is Ablegamers

The zine is planned to be in A5, perfect-bound booklet.
Artists will create one fully rendered single page or double page spread, in CMYK at 300DPI
Templates will be provided within Discord server.Sketch Artists will be working alongside our Layout mod, and will provide aid in creating sketches or Spot Illustrations that will accompany fanfiction and overall layout. Sketch artists will not have to make a fully rendered piece, and will be give a different template than page artists. Sketch artist may choose to use B&W instead of color for their pieces.Traditional art is accepted!

Writers will create one fic at a maximum word count of 3K words (Long Fiction), 600-1.5K words (Short Fiction)
Poets will be working via page count rather than word count. Our page limit for poetry will be around 3-4 pages in length (or roughly about 1.5k-2k words)There was interest for Character Letters so we will allow for this in the zine! Letters will be similar to poetry based around 2-3 pages!

Merch artists will create at least one merch piece in CMYK, at 300DPIWe plan to accept approximately 20-25 artists, 8-10 writers, and 4-5 merch artists. 4-5 alt mediums, 2 cosplayers, and 2 musicians.
Numbers are subject to change depending upon applications

Cosplayers will submit their final piece in A5 format, in CMYK, 300DPI. Please be sure final pieces are in a well-lit area, whether indoors or outdoors. Please be sure to follow all local Health Regulations in your area should you be taking your photographs outdoors.
Musicians are expected to create at least one song / composition, with a minimum duration of at least one minute. Live instruments, as well as synthetic instruments are fine to utilize. Music files will be submitted as .mp4 files

We plan to allow for alt mediums to apply as well. Based on interest we are considering:
Jewelry making, printmaking, clay work, embroidery, Craft making and screen/playwriting, etc
Note that since this will be set up as a zine, screenplay and playwriting format may not be the traditional way we are used to.Alt Mediums, we will be assigning this similarly to cosplayers. Alt Medium creators will be submitting a photo of work. Please make sure it's a clear image. Screen/playwriting pages will be limited due to size of zine (4-5 pages)🔹

A zine is a collection of fanworks, typically contain art and writing. These fanworks are self published into both physical booklets and digital pdfs. Zines typically are created within fandom spaces, by fans for fansWhat is a pitch?
A pitch is an overall idea for your piece! This term is often taken from Cinema where one would "pitch" the idea of their film or television series to a director. This is often a verbal or visual explanation of their idea! Similar to that notion, a pitch is just an idea that you have for this zine should you be accepted! They can be as detailed or as vague as you would like them to be!
Is this a charity or for-profit zine?
This project will be a charity zine. Our planned charity is AbleGamers!Will Cryo!Travler be an option in this zine?
Based on interest, Cryo Traveler will be an option for the zine!Will members of the Fatui who are delusion users, such as Childe or Signora be featured in this zine?

Yes! We are looking to add an Art mod, Finance mod, Graphics mod, and Shipping mod! Both finance mod and shipping mod can be filled for the same person! It is required for these two mods to be 18 or older. Other positions do not have this hard requirement!Are Mods allowed to participate in the zine, or will they have to apply like a contributor?
Mods will be allowed to participate in this zine if they so wish to! Mods will not have to apply in order to partake in the zine!If accepted for a mod position or a contributor position, will there be a place we can communicate?
Yes, all communication will be ran through a discord server. You will be required to be a part of the server, so we recommend you be ready to create an account if you do not already have one!Can other characters be featured in this zine as well?
Yes, but we do ask that at least one Cryo user be featured in the piece.I ship x and y together. Does this mean I will be disqualified from this zine?
No, not necessarily! Youre free to ship / draw / write most any ship outside of this zine. Our Mods will be required to hold no strong bias against ships. The one exception is that we do not allow for any child x adult ships, or child x child ships. This zine will not feature any ship content with either Diona or Qiqi.Is there an age requirement to apply?
All applicants must be at least 16 years of age to apply. If applying for the Finance / Shipping mod roles, applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.Can NPCs / Enemies such as Abyss Mages / Treasure Hoarders who use Cryo be featured in this zine as well?
We plan to showcase anyone who utilizes Cryo in this zine - NPCs and Enemies included!

Both themes of fluff and angst are allowedWe ask that you list your top 5 cryo characters that you would be interested in making a piece for. We will be pushing to include as much character diversity as possible. That said, we do recommend you list non "popular" cryo characters in your list.

We ask for three samples of your best work. Though not required, we do recommend one Genshin Impact sample. It is also recommended that at least one of your pieces have a full background or, at the very least, a simple design.

If using a Drive link, please be sure it is set to viewableWe ask that you submit at least three pitches / ideas of what you plan to make for the zine. We will provide additional space for light shipping ideas. Your pitch does not have to be set in stone but please make it related to your general idea for the zine.
